Welcome to the 2017 Needham Bank Grand Prix Series of 5K road races! This series is comprised of FOUR Needham 5K road races, held in JANUARY (New Years Day 5K), MAY (Great Bear Run), SEPTEMBER (Jog Your Memory 5K -replaces the YMCA July 4th race this year) and NOVEMBER (BIGGSteps 5K).
The Leaderboard has been updated and the top three male and female runners are listed below. Click HERE to view a list of ALL racers that have completed at least 2 of the 3 races (New Years Day, Great Bear Run and Jog Your Memory).

WHAT IS RUNNEEDHAM.COM?
INTRODUCTION: This is the official site of Needham Bank’s Grand Prix Series of four races run in Needham,MA.
Needham Bank has generously helped support the creation of this event. The purpose of this series is to encourage runners and walkers to experience the different neighborhoods of Needham, while promoting health and exercise throughout the year. An additional benefit is to support various local charities and services throughout Needham.
RACES: The following four races comprise the Needham Gran Prix Series. For more information about each race, to register and for results of that race, please click the race link below:
- Needham New Years Day 5K (Completed on January 1st)
- Great Bear Run (completed on May 21st)
- Jog Your Memory 5K (completed on September 17)
- BIGGSteps 5K (November 19)
PRIZES: The top three men and women runners who complete THREE out of the FOUR races will be eligible for cash prizes based on the average of their top three times for each race. A total of $1700 will be divided among the Male and Female runners as follows:
- First Place: $500 (M&F)
- Second Place: $250 (M&F)
- Third Place: $100 (M&F)
In addition, ALL official runners who complete all FOUR races will be given a custom prize. This year the prize will be a running jacket!
For 2016 the prize was a large custom Canvas Gym Bag!
For the 2015 series the prize was a large fleece blanket
